We took off yesterday to begin, what is the October tradition of, never ending weekends of family farms and fall festivals. This outing was a grand time to Honeysuckle Hill Farm outside Springfield Tennessee. Good times by both the boys as well as family & grammies.
This is a bit overdue as a blog posting goes. But, better late than never. Right?
During Rhys’ first week of life we had a photo shoot with Brooke Kelly at Brooke Kelly Photography. She was great fun and captured some really cute images of Rhys and the family.
So with a surprising Thursday morning (May 17th) Erin felt a need to talk to the doctor about a little ‘leakage.’ A few hours later after packing up our stuff and sending Brooks off with his grammies we were at the hospital getting some test done. The test was taking long enough that we were choosing our downtown or east nashville lunch spot. Then came the news, “baby coming today.” A few hours later after what we’d call a quick active labor, Rhys Edward Richardson was born at 5:25pm at 7lbs and 13ounces and 19.5 inches.
