We have had a whirlwind of a weekend going down the grandpa’s farm for the Richardson family reunion. We got down for the fish fry which was held a few hours earlier due to some important football game, the result of which we will not discuss here. Good times hanging with the family. Skipped the actual reunion part to make it to our friend Davey’s Alabama wedding reception. It was good to meet his wife Lindsey again (met her a few years back when they were dating while we were both in Dallas). She looked great and and Davey looked much like Davey should. The kiddos had a blast playing together. A few photos:

Worship Art

Erin was a part of Rehobeth UMC’s worship service Sunday doing her worship arts painting. She had not done this in quite a few years so it was really exciting and a little nerve racking. She did great, as you might expect, and the folks there were very appreciative.

Grandma Nora’s B’day

today we celebrated Grandma Nora’s b’day (this is erin’s mom’s mom) otherwise know as “Gran-ga-ma” (might not be spelled that way, but its pronounced that way). it was a fun time with family and seeing grandma have a grand ole time with many of her closest & oldest friends.

Birthday Boy Photo Shoot

BrooksErinDailyIkonour little boy Brooks, turns 1 month old today. how does the Richardson family celebrate? a photo shoot of course.

Anna is a good friend of ours and offered to take photos for us after my nikon was stolen last spring. we were stoked to have her take photos, she’s a whole lot better than me as a photographer.

Brooks was quite the awake child (though this photo doesn’t show that part) for his b’day photo shoot. this made it tough to get some of those ‘serene’ pics you usually see, but i suppose we already have some of those sleeping peaceful baby pics. Brooks was quite the trooper in modeling for about 2 hours with some sporadic breaks.

you can check out Anna’s blog posting with some of our photos from the photo shoot. when she’s had time to go through more of the photos we will link to those so people can order prints if they like (and i know you all want your Brooks professional print).

if you are looking for a photographer, i would highly recommend Anna.
