Day 14: Whit man celebrates two weeks tomorrow. Feels a little bit longer than that but who is counting, no me. 😄 Today Whit got back to 2lbs 11oz which is getting closer to his birthweight. He’s been upped on the calories, so he’s getting a whopping 26 calories a feeding. Bilirubin is still staying the same so hopefully he can ‘pass’ that on soon enough. He loves his “Zacky” hand which has helped him rest more (look up online it’s pretty cool). We bought one for us and one for the NICU and heard it’s already in use with a newer little little one. Erin is rockstar mom providing for Whit’s care. Beyond all this we continue to be grateful for Whit’s caretakers & the care and prayers of our community of friends & family for our family. It’s crazy humbling. Here is little man a little awake for his afternoon feeding before he sacked out with mom for a couple hours.
