Day 16: Arrived to the hospital today to see that lil man gained 60 grams, totally skipping 2lbs 12oz & now into the 2lb 13oz range. How accurate are these super expensive machines? We figure he picked up dad’s ability to pack on the pounds after yesterday’s hangout time. Best part of today is that our current nurse happens to be a huge skin to skin advocate (like HUGE) so she petitioned us to get two holdings a day (versus the standard one). So from here on out, baring any setback, each of us will get to hold lil man each day. Yay! Or mom gets double the fun, which is today’s plan. Some asked about Whit watching the Bama game last night. He had an infant Bama jersey, that is probably three years actually fitting on him considering his current size, that was on his bedside so he knew his team. However, there are no TVs in the #NICU so we told him the good news this morning.
